Grandmother’s are Priceless

To Grandmother…

 Letter from a Granddaughter…

BiggrannyDance
A Grandmother is a lady who has no children of her own. She likes other people’s little girls and boys. A Grandfather is a man Grandmother, he goes for walks with the boy’s and they take them fishing and stuff like that.

Grandmothers don’t have to do anything except to be there. They’re so old that they shouldn’t play hard or run. It is enough if they drive us to the market where the pretend horse is and have lots of coins ready.

Or if they take us for walks they slow down past things like pretty leaves, worms and caterpillars, they never say, “Hurry up.”

Some Grandmothers are big, but not too big to tie your shoes.

They wear all types of glasses and  funny underwear.

They can even take their teeth and gums off.

Grandmothers don’t have to be smart, only answer questions like,”Why isn’t God married?” and “How come dogs chase cats?”

Grandmothers don’t talk baby talk like visitors do, because it is hard to understand.

When they read to us they don’t skip, or mind if it’s the same story over again and they are good
 fun.

Everybody should try to have a Grandmother, especially if they don’t have a Television, because they are only grown-ups who have time.

Love your Grandmother from the heart, light up her day, she is worth it  (Grandfather is too!)

  1. Grandmothers and grandfathers are awesome — they finally have some time to spend with the grandchildren! 🙂
    God Bless You, Annie!

    • Hi Dei you are indeed a wonderful Grandmother except you didn’t want to Adopt me and be my granny 🙄 as they say we don’t ever really grow up Hmmmm well we must just mature.

Still sorting out e-mail addresses, check your spam, hope to Post tonight for Robin, it’s a Story you liked.

Thanks for visiting Dei, your wonderful, so faithful, perhaps you did Adopt me. 😀

      Christian Love Annie

  2. Thanks for the link… and being a Grandma is probably the best thing I will ever be…

    • Hi Marilyn, as Christians we can excell in many ways but I think Loving and caring for our Husbands, those in our family and also in our extended families is very important and this includes the Family of God.

We are to care for everyone even those who are weak in their faith and yes when needed we are to offer correction too which no doubt you have had to do with your Children and Grandchilden but you do so because you Love them and not to hurt them or in anger which sadly some think is ok but violance only leads to abuse, the rod of correction in the Scriptuers is not always understood as being The Holy Spirits correction which we are to give lovingly and also by our example, the same as teaching Children about God, He needs to be our main heart focus, which will be evident in our words and actions, yes some may rebel and reject our instruction but the good seeds have been planted, still it is hard to see them mess up and so be hurt. I don’t have any of my own Children here they are all in Heaven but I have cared for other peoples for many years over long periods of time and was very blessed doing so.

I hope to be able to spend more time Posting on this Blog although I started it some time ago I found with all the Technial problems I was having with Freedomborn, left little time to Post and comment and also continue here as well, so sadly I have lost contact with those who joined up with me in Kingdom’s Garden although thankfully some still follow Freedomborn.

Thanks for being you Marilyn, would you like to Adopt me, I’m Potty Trained but need lots of Loving like you give.

      Christian Love Anne.

Share your thoughts I value you and them
