Light in the Darkness

Light 7

We sometimes find in life  that the one person who we thought would never let us down does, but we can know without a doubt  Jesus won’t …

He will never let us down.

We may have our heart broken, probably even more than once, and it’s hard each time.
Broken heart
So we need to ask Jesus to heal our broken heart…He is the only one who can.
Other hearts may break too, so we remember how it felt when ours was broken, and offer the help we received…
Jesus won’t let them down either.
2 Corinthians 1:3-5 Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God. For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ.
We may fight with our best friend or blame a new love for things an old one did.
                                                 Conflict 10
We say  sorry  and forgive or ask for forgiveness when needed and show kindness instead of holding onto anger and bitterness  when someone hurts us…
They may be hurting too.
Why worry because we are growing older…  Age is in the heart, not the body.  We Take time to enjoy each day and those we Love. Looking  forward to the future with Hope, which we will always find in Jesus Christ.
We may cry because time is passing too fast, and there will come a time when we’ll eventually loose someone we Love and we need to accept physical death as part of our earthly life, to remember the special times we shared with them and look forward to the ones we will share.
So we take our pictures but keep special memories in our heart too, and keep our focus on Jesus…  A picture of Him doesn’t have a negative.

We laugh with others, cry with them compassionately and we enjoy their company, Love them and encourage them and we are  a ray of sunshine and light in the darkness to them, and that brings us Joy too.
Every sixty seconds we spend worrying or angry is a minute wasted, but every sixty seconds we show Love and kindness is Joy that we will never lose.
As God’s Redeemed Children we don’t need to  be afraid that our life will end. It started before we were born, and with Jesus there is no end…
So Let It Begin…

  1. Your writing is amazing and truthful I am learning a lot when I read your blog

  2. We are the Light to all the world, praise God whom will help us plant seeds to further his kingdom.

    • Hi Jackie, thank you for all your encouragement over the last few days, it’s very much appreciated.

Yes we do indeed shine Jesus Light in the darkness, as His Body, we are His hands, arms, feet and voice, to reach out to a hurting world and then being prepared as a fit vessel and equipped we do the good works that He has prepared in advance for us to do.

2 Timothy 2:19-21 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are His. And, let every one that nameth the Name of Christ depart from iniquity. But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour. If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the Master’s use, and prepared unto every good work.

See you soon – Christian Love – Anne

  4. Hi Kelly, so good to see you, going by your Blog I thought you had gone on holidays. I really appreciate your visit and your sharing and so True when I first met Ron he would say I use to worry if I have nothing to worry about, what a waste of time and no need with The Lord as He makes all things work for good.

I’m suppose to be resting as I had a fall yesterday but I’m missing everybody, anyway I will keep my comments short, well maybe 🙂 but I will go to bed early.

  6. Thanks Anne for the encouraging words & the lovely pictures! What stood out especially to me was the idea that every minute spent worrying or angry is a minute wasted – when we could instead spend that minute living with hope and kindness. Life is certainly a journey of learning from God how to live in step with his Spirit – moment by moment – and allowing the hurts and resentments to slide off us – like water off a duck’s back…
